Caught the second half of the 2017 TV movie Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland on Lifetime, as told from the points of view of his two security persons. Wonderful, credible performances. The script and the direction also avoid falling into the traps of mawkishness and melodrama. In the 1970s I used to believe that the worst performances were on TV. Today I believe that some of the best performances are on TV.
