I love divination using mahjong tiles. An elaborate ritual with joss sticks precedes it, and, as in the game, three other people aside from the diviner sit round the table. Walls are built in a ritual phase called "Building the City", which can have one, two, three, or four entrances and a tower. Then tiles are placed in the four cardinal directions (quite disorienting because the diviner is always in the East).
The "flowers" play significant roles and must be mastered first, especially "Chung" (a.k.a. Red Dragon), which really means "Center". I never knew till now that they have such wonderful meanings--and to think that we discard them when we are playing the game.
And oh, all four dice are actually used.
