Watched the replay of the 2006 movie Annapolis on HBO. After everything has been said and done, everyone who panned the movie seemed to have forgotten that the movie was not written for Annapolis, not written for boxing, but written for James Franco, whose performance has the same truth, albeit with mannerisms, as that of James Dean. It is a father-son movie. They might as well pan all of James Dean's melodramas.
