I love the lulls in creativity between painting and writing. During those brief moments, anything is possible. I can sleep, go jalan-jalan, shop, attend to my collections, and engage in trivial matters (such as collecting stickers for our planners).

It is within those times, however, when I am most vulnerable--when it is easy for me to look more closely at other people and sometimes become overly fascinated with them.

My painting and my writing can change other people's lives.

But my lulls in creativity can lead to introducing changes to my own life.
